Have you ever felt the urge to re-donor update your kitchen? If you have, then you are in good company. Many have asked about how to re-do their kitchen. One reader this week asked me what to do to change her kitchen on a very (and I mean very) tight budget. My answer? change the hardware!
The kitchen had bright white cabinet knobs that were simply outdated (and some even broken). A quick trip to Home Depot and the knob situation was fixed! The reader chose the Hickory Hardware 1-1/4". Chrome Cabinet Knob for $4.75 each. Sixteen knobs and a screwdriver later and the kitchen looked much better.

What was great about this project was the fact that it was quick and easy, plus anyone can do it (no experts or licensed professional needed- which is rare for a kitchen remodeling job). Even though it isn't a big change, it does improve the looks of the kitchen and it certainly made the reader happy. Now the only thing left to change are the cream colored outlets!
